Electric Power Industry of Serbia (EPS) called for offers for the production of urban planning documentation for the solar and wind power plants in Kostolac basin in the location called Srednje kostolačko ostrvo, a slag and ash pond.

The share of the price in the application’s grade will be 60%, while the quality of the employed workforce brings 40% of the assessment in the public procurement filed as JN 1000-0109-2015. The deadline for submission and the opening of offers is April 22 and the decision will be made within 25 days from the opening, the documentation reveals.

EPS said the service includes regulation solutions for Kostolac wind power facility and Kostolac-Petka photovoltaic plant, as well as reservation of space. The contractor needs to make a report on the strategic assessment of the environmental effects of the changes in the spatial plan for the coal basin. The selected applicant will make appropriate changes in the strategic part of the spatial plan. The offer needs to include a banking guarantee of 120 days for the 10% of the total amount excluding value-added tax.

Arne Gooss, head of KfW Development Bank’s Belgrade office, said in January that the German financial institution funds the project with EUR 81 million.

The capacity of the photovoltaic facility is planned at 9.9 MW. The wind park is seen at up to 60 MW.
